The System 620 eliminates ‘down time’ and off machine inspection. A versatile closed circuit camera/monitor system, with precison slides and
digital read-out designed to complement Optidress E to give ‘on machine’ high precision non-contact measuring and checking, of wheel and workpiece, through to completion of the grinding operation.

The Optidress E Diamond Wheel Profiling System, available for use with the Optidress E Form Wheel Dresser, provides a highly cost-effective alternative to creep feed or crush grinding, as well as off-line form wheel dressing. Crush grinders require a separate diamond roll for each shape, while the Optidress Wheel Profiling System lets you redress the same grinding wheel multiple times.

Templates for either 10:1 or 5:1 reduction dressers can be used repeatedly for tool room or production applications. Conventional machinery can be used to produce the template. Alternatively CNC milling and wire cut EDM machines can generate templates quickly and with the use of outputs from CAD machines. The DIAFORM™ CNC system is simple, fast and accurate both to program and set-up. DIAFORM™ CNC has full 3 axis dressing capability. When linked to machine control can provide up to six axis capability using high accuracy diamond tooling, both single and rotary. No matter what the machine, the DIAFORM™ can provide all the benefits of specialist CNC form grinding.
