This Coborn Edge Honing Machine has been designed to hone the edges of P.C.D. or carbide inserts to produce a small, controlled, repeatable radius around the cutting edge. The high precision spindle bearings are designed for reliability and longevity. Sealed for life, it is a zero maintenance unit. Toolholding table consists of three rotary heads which accept the drop on toolholding plates, these three heads are mounted in a larger rotary table. This system allows all flanks and radii of inserts to be presented to the whole brush face. The brush spindle can also be offset if required. The control system gives the user full access to the variables of the machine. This allows the user to quickly set the machine for any given requirement.
