RG9 Robot System
The Coborn RG9 CNC grinding machine can now be supplied with a robot loading arm jointly known as the RG9R. All existing RG9’s can be upgraded into RG9R to include the robot arm.
The robot system when integrated with the RG9 allows for a fully automated loading and grinding process.
Large volume production runs can be carried out, without the need for human intervention, once set up.
The robot features an articulate arm, with 6 degrees of freedom, for high flexibility.
The spherical work envelope allows maximum utilization of cell workspace. The fully enclosed structure of the robot arm (IP65) is ideal for applications in harsh environments. The specially designed wrist (IP67) resists cutting debris and is ideal for machine tool environments.
